While we try to keep the website accurate and up to date, we make no warranty that it is error-free or uninterrupted.

We provide construction estimating, materials take-offs, bills of quantities and related services on a per-project basis. We confirm the scope, fee and turnaround for each project before work begins.

Estimates are prepared based on the information you provide, in the form of drawings, bills of quantities and similar documents. Wherever possible these should carry full dimensions. Where they do not, we will make reasonable assumptions.

We apply the labour rates, profit margins and similar figures you supply. If none are supplied, we apply industry standard figures.

PC (prime cost) sums are used for any unspecified items or specialised fittings, such as kitchens, bathrooms, electrical and plumbing fittings, and decorative finishes.

Every estimate and set of plans must be checked by a suitably qualified professional before use, and should only be sent to a client or third party once that professional has checked them and is completely satisfied.

The estimate is a guideline only, indicating the expected cost of building works. You must go through the workings in detail before relying on or passing on the estimate. It is not a fixed quotation, and we do not accept liability for changes in building costs or for any estimate that is used without being properly checked.

You must tell us at the time of ordering if you require an express or priority service. Our expected return date following payment will be as set out in our quotation. If no service level is specified, the standard turnaround applies.

Minor amendments to project costings are carried out free of charge. Where amendments require a restructure of the plans or major works, an additional cost applies. We will always tell you of any additional cost before carrying out the work.

Fees are agreed in writing on a fixed-fee basis before we start. Indicative prices on this website are estimates only and exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.

We begin work once the agreed payment has been made. Once we have started work on an estimate, a refund cannot be given.

If an estimate is cancelled after an order is placed but before we have started work, an administration charge of 50.00 GBP applies.

Any complaint should be raised by email in the first instance and received within 14 days of receipt of the estimate. We will endeavour to resolve any issue amicably and professionally.

The client is responsible for verifying all figures and for their final quoted price and margins to their own client.

Our liability is limited to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from estimates used without being properly checked by a qualified professional.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of this website will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
